If you need to lose unwanted pounds quickly for an upcoming event or need to jump-start your weight loss program, the cabbage soup diet may help.</p>
<p>The 7 day cabbage soup diet plan is quick, easy and allows you to shed pounds quickly. This plan is safe and effective. It does include the soup, fruits, vegetables and even meat. The soup itself is bland; however, you may add spices to make it more flavourful.</p>
<p>The cabbage soup diet recipe is easy to make and you can season it to your taste<span id="more-82"></span>:</p>
<p>1 head of cabbage</p>
<p>Add up to three carrots</p>
<p>At least 1 or 2 green peppers</p>
<p>5 or 6 large onions (omit if you do not like onions)</p>
<p>At least 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)</p>
<p>Fresh or canned mushrooms (small or large can)</p>
<p>Add 1 bunch of celery</p>
<p>Optional items to enhance the flavor of the soup:</p>
<p>A favorite soup mix</p>
<p>Vegetable juice</p>
<p>Bouillon cubes</p>
<p>Season the soup with pepper, salt and any other seasonings you may like.</p>
<p>The cabbage soup diet plan should be followed as closely as possible for the best results. This plan should not be extended beyond seven days. However, you can achieve optimum results by utilizing the plan one week each month.</p>
<p>1st Day:</p>
<p>You eat all the fruit and soup you want. The only fruit you should not eat are bananas.</p>
<p>2nd Day:</p>
<p>You eat unlimited vegetables and soup all day. The vegetables may be cooked or raw and the amount is up to you.</p>
<p>3rd Day:</p>
<p>Eat as many fruits and vegetables as you can. Eat the soup whenever you feel hungry.</p>
<p>4th Day:</p>
<p>You should eat at least eight bananas during this day along with drinking skim milk. You may also eat the cabbage soup.</p>
<p>5th Day:</p>
<p>You may eat meat on this day along with tomatoes. If you eat chicken, be sure to remove the skin. Eat the soup anytime you feel hungry. Make sure you do not eat more than 20 ounces of meat and you may eat as many tomatoes as you like.</p>
<p>6th Day:</p>
<p>You eat unlimited beef and vegetables all day. Of course, include the soup. If you do not eat beef, feel free to substitute chicken or fish.</p>
<p>7th Day:</p>
<p>All you can eat vegetables, brown rice and soup. To make the brown rice more flavorful, you may add Bouillon cubes to the water when cooking the rice.</p>

<p>Serves 24</p>
<p>2 lbs. pasta (bow-ties, shells, etc.)</p>
<p>1/2 cup chopped red onion</p>
<p>1/2 sliced black olives</p>
<p>2 cups chopped bell peppers (red, yellow)</p>
<p>1 cup diced tomatoes</p>
<p>2 cups chopped mushrooms (optional)</p>
<p>2 cups chopped cucumbers</p>
<p>2 cups chopped broccoli</p>
<p>1 cup sugar</p>
<p>1 1/2 cups olive oil</p>
<p>1/2 cup mustard</p>
<p>1/4 cup mayonnaise</p>
<p>1/2 cup distilled vinegar</p>
<p>Salt to taste</p>
<p>Ground black pepper to taste</p>
<p>Cook pasta according to package directions, al dente. Rinse with cool water and drain well.</p>
<p>Combine chopped vegetables and store in a large container. Combine the last seven ingredients in a separate bowl. At this point you can either combine with vegetables or transport the dressing separately. Either way, refrigerate or keep in cooler with ice for 2 to 4 hours.</p>
<p>There are many more salad recipes that can work well for picnics; just open up any cookbook for inspiration.</p>
<p>As far as salad recipes for potluck lunches or dinners, think of something different. Perhaps something that can be served as a main dish; for example, a great chicken salad recipe served either hot or cold, would work well. <p>1 1/2 cups shredded cheese</p>
<p>1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes</p>
<p>2 cups shredded lettuce</p>
<p>1 cup chopped onions</p>
<p>1 can sliced olives, drained (4 1/4 oz.)</p>
<p>1 can pinto beans (15 oz.)</p>
<p>1 jar salsa (12 oz.)</p>
<p>1 package corn chips (or individual bags)</p>
<p>Brown ground beef. Drain. Add taco seasoning to meat. Cool. Toss remaining ingredients in container. Transfer to cooler.</p>
<p>For a fun variation, buy individual Taco or corn chips and have all ingredients ready, buffet-style. Everyone gets their own chips bag, mixes their own salad in a Ziploc bag, and voila: fresh and fun for everyone! <p>Migraines are the chronic headaches that cause acute pain for several hours, sometimes even lasting days. Migraine headache symptoms can be so bad sometimes that it completely prevents the sufferer from being able to focus on anything besides migraine relief.</p>
<p>Migraines are sometimes preceded or accompanied with sensory warning signs and symptoms called auras, things like flashes of light, blind spots or tingling sensations in your arm and/or leg. Migraines are often times accompanied by vomiting, nausea, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.</p>

<h3>Causes</h3>
<p>Despite extensive study on the subject, it is not actually known what the causes are of migraine headaches. It is believed that the condition may stem from the way the nervous system reacts to changes experienced in the body or even in the environment. Mild to moderate headaches are sometimes erroneously believed to be caused from stress or sinus congestion. It&#8217;s a mistake to consider a migraine as a particular kind of headache.</p>
<p>Geneticist Dr Aarno Palotie, of the University of California, in Los Angeles, said that they found proof of an isolated genetic link with migraine. That means migraine could be <span id="more-51"></span>hereditary, it is also been studied that children whose mothers suffered from migraines had twice the risk of migraines when they were adults.</p>
<h3>Migraine headache treatment</h3>
<p>There is no cure for migraine as yet; however, medications can help to lower the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks. If treatment has had a limited effect for you, consider trying different migraine medication after consulting with your doctor. It’s also possible that your migraine medication and your diet are causing your headaches.</p>
<p>The best migraine treatment is usually good medicines, combined with self help remedies. This can provide a great deal of migraine headache relief.</p>
<p>It is possible to treat Migraines and other symptoms effectively; the first step is to eliminate the medications that could worsen the condition. A migraine includes several parts of the brain, several brain chemicals and the blood vessels and nerves around the head. The more swelling and inflammation you have in your blood vessels, the worse your headache will be.</p>
<p>Migraines can be ‘triggered’ in response to several factors like hormonal fluctuations, stress, irregular/disturbed sleep patterns, some foods, environmental changes and so on.</p>
<h3>Natural migraine relief</h3>
<p>The most ideal solution to avoid migraine attacks is by avoiding or reducing your exposure to triggers, for example, avoiding certain foods and getting enough sleep. Most people, unfortunately attempt treatment of headaches after they have already occurred. If the headaches occur infrequently and happen to respond well to an over-the-counter or prescription painkillers, that could be useful. However, for people suffering from frequent headaches, this can possibly make the situation worse.</p>
<p>Some migraine headache medication relieve symptoms if they are used occasionally, but if you over use it,  eventually you may find that you will need to use these medications in larger doses and more frequently to cause the same kind of relief. And as a result, more severe headaches can develop.</p>
<p>If you are using ‘rebound’ causing medications more than three times per week, you need to stop taking it. This will not be easy as you may have more headaches for a period of about a few weeks due to withdrawal. Be sure to check with your doctor before that.</p>
<p>You can then start addressing triggers that may be in your diet. Some chemicals in food and drinks, such as caffeine, monosodium glutamate, etc. stimulate migraine, encouraging attacks. Make notes of foods that could be a trigger by studying changes you may have made in your diet and avoid them, remember that the trigger foods could have been consumed up to a day or more before the Migraine.</p>
<p>A trigger can sometimes consist of a combination of two or so things making it difficult to pinpoint. The best way to identify triggers is to keep a handy note book and jot down information about your diet and also notes about migraines like when they occur, their severity and so on. You can then study your notes and isolate triggers, thereby allowing you the chance to avoid them.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s the best way to lose belly fat, not because it works faster or because it’s easier but because it’s the only way that actually works!</p>
<p>There is a lot of confusion and misdirection about abs and how to lose belly fat out there. A long time ago, when I innocently quizzed a trainer at my gym on the topic, He told me to bend over and touch my toes, and do that a couple of times a day!</p>
<p>The truth is that the answer is part of a bigger question, and the topic seems confusing because it is approached wrong. There is no way to target fat in any particular part of the body, the belly included. Don’t let that get you down, there’s nothing sad about it, it’s just a fact, here I’ll sum it up in one sentence.</p>
<p><strong>If you want great looking abs or even just a flat stomach, you need to lower your overall body fat, otherwise, no matter how well your abdominal muscles are worked, they won’t be visible because they will be hidden under a layer of fat.</strong></p>
<p>So, if you find anyone who tries to convince you otherwise, you can take two things for granted<span id="more-47"></span>.</p>
<p>They are trying to lure your credit card out of your wallet.</p>
<p>Whatever ‘miracle’ they claim they will reveal to you <span style="text-decoration: underline;">will not work</span>, there is no best exercise to lose belly fat.</p>
<h4><strong>How to lower your overall body fat</strong></h4>
<p>The fastest way to lose belly fat is to change your mind set to aim for overall fat loss.</p>
<p>Aerobics or Aerobic exercises will help with fat loss all over the body. That includes your belly. Belly fat is usually (but not always) the first to be targeted when you exercise. Be sure to focus on calorie-burning exercises that work out your whole body.</p>
<p>Also include resistance training in your workout. Combining cardio (aerobic) exercises along with resistance training is actually more effective than cardio training alone. The reason for this is that resistance training forces the body to regenerate and repair itself long after workouts. This keeps metabolism boosted. For Maximum Benefits, make sure you are targeting Major Muscle Groups, the larger the target muscle groups, the more effect it has.</p>
<p>If you are not a huge fan of long drawn-out cardio, if you don’t mind putting in the effort to lose belly fat fast, consider HIIT, High intensity interval training. The best for interval training is sprinting or the very challenging Hill Sprints. If you have an injury or other problems which stop you from sprinting then consider other safer alternatives like spinning on an exercise bike.</p>
<p>Never perform any exercise on an empty stomach, this can be counterproductive! Make sure to have had something to eat around a half hour before your exercise, something easily digestible, you don&#8217;t want to feel full while you are exercising.</p>
<p>As your weight begins to drop, keep in mind that you may lose fat first in some areas of your body, it’s not uncommon to lose belly fat first (cross your fingers), followed by others, it varies from person to person which areas they lose from first, it has nothing to do with the kind of exercises you are doing. So don’t waste time giving it any thought. Just keep at it and you will see fat loss throughout your body and you will soon also see your six pack pop out. That’s when you whip out the sun tan and head for the beach!</p>

<p>Make no mistake; it is you that has to design your plan. It’s ok to download diet plans or borrow a friend’s and modify it but I highly recommend that you start from scratch.  A big reason most diet plans do not work is because the dieter is trying to follow someone else’s eating patterns, which obviously will not consist of your favorite foods, or even foods you are familiar with and comfortable eating, making It boring and difficult to stick to and easy to want to cheat on.</p>
<p>Creating your own diet plans does not take a lot of work. Include foods that you enjoy and find satisfying and eat them in planned proportions. You will find this won’t be a torture to stick to and you will see faster results in your weight loss goals. So let’s teach you a fun and easy way to do create your own weight loss diet plan.<span id="more-33"></span></p>
<h3>Before you start planning, things to know and things to do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Calculate your daily calorie requirement, if you don’t know how, use this link: <a href=" http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/calorie-calculator/NU00598">calorie calculator</a>.  Note that all calorie requirement calculators can only provide you with estimates, you may need to modify your diet food plans after a bit of experimenting, which is why -</li>
<li>Create a journal to track your progress, make regular entries and compare with previous results. You will use this to modify and improve your diet meal plans as you go along. This is important! Don’t miss it.</li>
<li>Drink lots of water (we have already spoken about why in the other posts).</li>
<li>Include fruits and vegetables in your diet, aside from being great diet food, it also makes it a healthy diet plan ensuring good nutrition you would otherwise loose from dropping high calorie foods like cheese and meats.</li>
<li>Learn a few snack recipes with nuts and seeds. These are easy to carry around and snack on when you feel hungry. All nuts are a good source of fibre, so it makes you feel full and saves you from having to eat unhealthy snacks.</li>
<li>Also include whole grain products in your diet meal plans as much as possible. Whole grains like cereals, bread, oats and bran are high in fibre which helps you feel full.</li>
<li>Make a note of calorie content in all your most consistent foods from either reading the labels or using this site: <a href="http://nutritiondata.self.com/">http://nutritiondata.self.com/</a></li>
<li>Although ideal, it won’t be possible to always eat what you prepare, lunch on working days or meeting friends on weekends for example. You don’t have to make compromises in your lifestyle by losing out on these, just include them in your diet plan.</li>

<h3>The Plan</h3>
<p>Now comes the geeky part, lets create your weight loss diet plan! Make a spreadsheet ideally on a computer or just use a book or large sheet labeled diet plans to lose weight fast! Make it out with meals in rows and days in columns (or vice versa, doesn’t matter). You will make entries of your meals in relevant cells with basic description and number of calories (e.g. Bagel 250). Make entries for a week without any plans for what you will eat, I usually do this for 3 weeks, but 1 week gives you a pretty good picture too.</p>
<p>Now comes the creative part. Analyze the chart at the end of the week, calculate how many calories you consumed per day and how that compares with your calorie requirements. Make a copy of the spreadsheet and change things around until it matches your calorie needs. Don’t get too excited and take out too much. Make it a weekly diet meal plan that you can stick to, filled with familiar comfortable foods in reasonable portions. Try to have fun doing it, make smart choices like Adding fiber rich foods strategically before weekend meet-ups and so on, spend some time on it, it will pay off.</p>
<h3>Track your progress</h3>
<p>You don’t have to continue the spreadsheet entries after the initial weight loss plan, it’s too tedious to sustain and we want avoid associating boredom or frustration to this process as much as possible. Just make notes of any meals that are outside of your plan.</p>
<p>Be sure to track your progress on the scales as well as your measurements. If it looks like you are going off track, analyze what may have caused that, perhaps a new food you introduced that claimed to be low fat (happens a lot) or maybe you reached a plateau and need to jolt your way back into progress, whatever, the point is that without tracking, you would have no idea when you went off track and also have no idea what to fix.</p>
<p>With that, you should be on your way. Remember, don’t torture yourself into painful and boring diet plans, it’s just not possible to sustain, it’s unhealthy and it makes you cranky! Have fun with it, the best diet plan is a healthy diet plan. Be consistent and you will end up reaching your goals a lot faster too.</p>

<p>But don’t lose heart, quick weight loss is still possible. To accelerate your results without sacrificing your health or starving yourself, here are some tips that are absolutely essential to your fast weight loss diet plan.<span id="more-23"></span></p>
<h3>Drink water</h3>
